December 26, 2017 Christmas Fun

Good news! I will be staying in Chorley for another transfer! I will be staying with Elder Tuipulotu for a fourth transfer which never happens! I am very happy and excited.

This week was good! We were finally able to see the Tatlock family again after 3 weeks and we have committed Jake, the 12 year old, to be baptised on the 30th of December! The family is ready to come back to church and we are excited about them. We also had a member approach us and ask us to go by a family that he is really close with who used to be members but had their names removed. We went by them and they are the nicest people ever. We taught them twice and they actually came to church! Their names are Gavin and Cassandra and we really feel like they have so much potential!

We were able to go do baptisms for the dead with Georgina and Emma and it was an amazing, powerful experience. They actually brought their own family names to do work for! There was one point I was doing the confirming and Elder Tuipulotu was standing as proxy and the member that had helped them with their family history was in the room and after one of the confirmations said: “that is Emma’s grandfather” and the Spirit just hit me so hard and I got very emotional. Emma and Georgina also felt that Spirit and it was a very special moment for everyone there. Unfortunately Lyn and Mick came to the temple but Mick’s Aaronic priesthood hadn’t been approved by salt lake yet so he couldn’t go to the temple last week but we will be going this week!

Fun highlight: had the Mission Christmas Party on Wednesday and it was a blast! We had to do loads of preparation because it was at the Chorley chapel but it was worth it. This year it was really chilled out and we mostly just talked and relaxed. There was a talent show though and as a district we did a Hawaiian dance (there is a Hawaiian Sister in Chorley) and that was super fun haha.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! I am very excited to see my family on Monday and will have P Day on Tuesday! ðŸ˜Š

December 11, 2017 Snow!

This past week was pretty good. We taught Mark with a member who is a psychiatric counsellor and he asked Mark some questions and we saw Mark as he really is and he isn’t fully stable to be baptised. It was unfortunate but we will see how Mark is after he gets out of hospital. We have been trying to teach other investigators and haven’t had much success but we did finally see Harrison and he is back on track.

We have been doing lots of work with our recent converts and that has been great, they are doing well. We did family history with Georgina, Emma, Lyn and Mick! All are going to the temple this week! We have seen a big change in the members in the Chorley area. They are catching the vision and there are many members who are working on their friends! The leaders are noticing it and are excited about it. It’s amazing, we’ve had many members come up to us and compliment us and express their trust in us and that has been a big blessing. Of course all the credit and glory goes to the Lord but it is a privilege to be an instrument in His hands.

We had a couple ward Christmas parties this week which was fun. Also IT SNOWED which was crazy! It was a little scary driving in the snow (mostly because I don’t trust the English drivers in snow) but it was so fun. We had loads of snowballs thrown at us by youth and we may or may not have thrown some back ðŸ˜‰ Another fun highlight is that we got to show about 10 university students who are preparing to be religious education teachers around the temple site and answered any questions they had. It was fun to be with a bunch of people around our age who are genuinely interested in learning about our religion!

Hope y’all have a wonderful week!

P.S. Transfers are next week and I will be writing on Tuesday.

December 5, 2017 Emma Was Baptised!

This week was amazing! Emma is a miracle and was baptised! The baptismal service was really lovely, it was in the font area which is smaller so it was a real family feel and the Spirit was really strong. Everyone involved was very happy (Especially Emma:)!

Here is Emma’s full story:
She was introduced to the church when she came to Georgina’s baptism and enjoyed it. She came to church the next day but didn’t really think much of it. Georgina would tell Emma everything and even made her posters with all the PMG lessons on it so Emma could learn. Eventually after going to institute a couple times and the missionary fireside, Emma decided to meet with us and started progressing very quickly. Then on Saturday the 25th of November I was saying my nightly prayer and prayed for Emma to have a powerful spiritual experience in Church the next day. Then in sacrament meeting the next day she basically saw a vision of herself getting baptised and Georgina speaking at her baptism and then she saw herself getting baptised for her grandma in the temple! What an amazing experience!! So she decided she needed to be baptised so we presented December 9th to her. On Wednesday this week when we went to follow up on the date she said she couldn’t do it because she is having a minor surgery this Thursday and then the Bishop of Ward 4 invited to be baptised on the Saturday! 3 days later! She accepted and it was all just too amazing to put into words. Also to make the story even better, Georgina and Emma were actually called to be ward missionaries yesterday!

Mark is back on track to be baptised! We feel that the event that happened is now a defining moment for him and he has been change by it. He is doing better but satan continues to work on him.

We had a visit from Elder De Feo, a Seventy on the Europe area Presidency and it was a super super powerful meeting. We also had the Christmas carol Concert this week which was soo good and we have a few people that will be working with soon who came with members.

Y’all are amazing and I hope Light the World is going well!

November 27, 2017 Thankful

This week was good. Unfortunately Mark has dropped his date and is not happy with us. We taught him a few times and he passed his baptismal interview and then he came to a child of record baptism on Saturday and loved it. The only problem is that he smelt like alcohol and so we tried to approach him about it and he got really upset and stormed off. Some members have been in contact with him and he is not happy but we will keep working with him after some time.

We are excited to say though that Emma has committed to be baptised! We saw her a few times and the lessons are always so good! I was praying on Saturday night for her to have ha spiritual witness on Sunday, specifically at church and while a recently returned missionary was speaking the Spirit was super strong and we looked over and Emma was crying. We asked her later and she said she had felt the Spirit and that she needed to be baptised! Another miracle! We are working towards December 9th with her.

Light the World continues to be a success and we have seen so much positivity from visiting the different Ward Councils (yes councilS because there are 4 of them haha) and other members. We’ve seen an increase in desire to share the gospel, unity and overall better relationships with members. There are many members who have friends they are working with. Everyone is starting to catch the vision!

For Thanksgiving we ate at the MTC for lunch and then a member made us a proper thanksgiving meal (they’ve lived in the states before) and both were amazing! The members here are way too kind to us, I am very grateful. I love English people! ðŸ˜Š

November 20, 2017 Stake Conference

This week was good! Mark continues to progress and is still keeping commitments. We were able to teach Georgina’s sister Emma three times and she is so prepared! Georgina has already taught her a lot and so Emma basically teaches us the lessons. She also says that she has felt a confirming witness from the Spirit that the church is true!

We were able to see many member families this week and get them preparing for Light the World and it has been very successful so far. The stake presidency in particular are very excited and on board. We had stake Conference yesterday and all the meetings were about missionary work. We also had an inter faith event in Blackburn which was good. We did the Light the World theme and had a TV with the new video, banners, the calendars and loads of copies of the Book of Mormon. It’s always very good when we are able to get out into the community, I wish we could have more good opportunities to do so but we loved doing the display.

November 13, 2017 Staying in Chorley

I am very excited and happy to say that I will be staying in Chorley for another transfer and will also be staying with Elder Tuipulotu! We will be serving together for 3 transfers which is very uncommon but we make a good team ðŸ˜Š

This week was great! Joseph was baptised and it was a wonderful family baptism. Georgina spoke at the new member fireside and it was amazing and her sister Emma has now decided to start taking the lessons and pretty much committed to be baptised in January! Mark continues to progress and is now living all the commandments and we have seen a huge change in him. We also had an inactive member contact us and said she is wanting to come back to church and she has an unbaptised daughter and her husband is also not a member so we are excited to work with them.

Random highlights: We filmed some videos around the church and temple to make a temple tours Facebook page where people can go on and book a time to go look around the temple! We are excited about it. Also, Elder Tuipulotu was asked by someone he taught to baptise him in Newcastle and so we drove down there for it on Saturday and that was wonderful.

I hope you all know how much I KNOW that we are part of the true and living of Jesus Christ restored in these latter days!

November 6, 2017 Armour of God

This past week was pretty good! Had lots of things that took away from the work finding wise but were important for the work moving forward. Things such as MLC, Halloween and Bonfire night and helping the zone out. We had a Halloween activity with all the youth in the stake and it ended up being really successful. Each companionship in the stake (7 companionships in total) came to the stake centre and we each had a room where we had a little workshop or activity for the youth to do. For ours we got a ton of cardboard and some tin foil and tape and had the youth make the armour of God. It was so fun ðŸ˜‚. The youth liked it and we hope to be teaching two new people from it.

Mark continues to progress. Didn’t see him very much but he came to church and is sticking to his baptismal calendar. Georgina’s sister Emma came to Institute, a ward activity and to church! She is progressing but slowly. She had some amazing spiritual experiences this week, particularly with Georgina. Joseph passed his baptismal interview! His baptism will be this week.

Georgina had another amazing dream! In the dream we were in a lesson and I told her to look up a scripture in Zachariah chapter 6 last verse (don’t even think she had heard of Zachariah) and to read it to her sister. So she did and her sister was amazed. Zachariah 6:15- “And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the Lord, and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God.” And then later on in the week some random keychain was found in Emma’s room that had never been seen before and it talked about letting the Lord guide you and so she has been amazed by all these things.

The Lord continues to amaze us and we are so very #blessed.

October 30, 2017 Happy Birthday Mom!

First off I would like to wish a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my absolutely amazing and beautiful mother this upcoming Sunday the 5th. In Gospel Principles yesterday the lesson was on family responsibilities and as we spoke about the mothers responsibilities I shared how the hardest thing about being a missionary for me is being away from my mom.

In the Gospel Principles Book it says:
“The Book of Mormon describes a group of 2,000 young men who rose to greatness because of the teachings of their mothers (see Alma 53:16–23). Led by the prophet Helaman, they went into battle against their enemies. They had learned to be honest, brave, and trustworthy from their mothers. Their mothers also taught them that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them (see Alma 56:47). They all survived the battle. They expressed faith in the teachings of their mothers, saying, “We do not doubt our mothers knew it” (Alma 56:48). Every mother who has a testimony can have a profound effect on her children.”
I love this story because it’s the same with my mother. I do not doubt that my mother knows it and I can never describe how much of an impact my mothers testimony and strength has had on me.

This past week was good! Made some great progress with Mark. He has been taught almost all of the lessons except for lesson 5. He came to a ward activity and church and is keeping commitments. He moved his date up to the 2nd of December and is excited about it. Emma, Georgina’s sister came to church and will be coming to Institute this next week. Georgina is a great missionary and has been working on her sister.

We got in contact with Carol and Rory and they said they’d come to church but then didn’t show up. Joseph is still doing well, he has his baptismal interview this week. Harrison’s Mom has dropped his baptismal date because of some family and school complications but we will continue teaching the whole family and he will plan on getting baptised in January.

We had a nice miracle at our street Display on Wednesday. Elder Tuipulotu talked to a super nice lady and got a return appointment but sadly didn’t get any contact information except first name, Maria and town she was from. So we searched her on Facebook and found her! We have been chatting with her and she is amazing! We sent her some videos and she felt the Spirit immediately. We are excited about her. There is so much work to be done in this area!

Random highlights: went on exchange with the assistants and so I was back in Man South which was fun. Tried by Malcolm and he is doing okay, still trying to get him to come to church haha.

I love this Gospel and I love my mom! Have a great week everyone!

October 23, 2017 More Surprises!

Sooo LYN AND MICK WERE BAPTISED!

Here is the full story:
Sister Merrick moved into ward 4 in April. Before she moved in loads of members went over and got her house ready. Lyn and Mick saw this service and it was their first contact with the church. Brother Merrick had cancer and passed away soon after and Lyn and Mick loved the funeral service and felt welcomed at the church. Eventually we had tea all together and we started teaching them. Their progress was pretty slow but they had powerful spiritual experiences at the church for a tour and Sunday services. This past Tuesday they had a temple tour and they had all their questions and concerns answered. They went inside to the waiting room. While in there the Spirit was unbelievable and Sister Merrick asked if they were ready to be baptised and they said yes and then she said what about this coming Saturday and they agreed!! The crazy thing is that we were on exchange so our district leader interviewed them right then and President McReynolds was there as well so he approved them getting baptised so soon. The baptism was so great, a recent convert baptised them both and it was his first time. Elder Tuipulotu and I confirmed them. Another crazy miracle!

This week was just so great. We saw our friend Mark multiple times and he is doing pretty well. He is a little crazy so we are not too sure if we should keep teaching him but he skipped out on a concert this weekend so that he could come to church which is a good sign. We haven’t been able to see Carol and Rory because they want a little space but some members have been in contact with them. Harrison and Joseph are doing well.

Random highlights: I was ill after eating KFC and napped almost all of Friday haha. Also, the recent convert who baptised Lyn and Mick got the Melchizedek priesthood last night!

-Elder Ludlow

Mick is right next to me and Lyn is right next to Elder Tuipulotu.

October 16, 2017 Georgina Was Baptized!

So surprise! GEORGINA WAS BAPTISED!! Obviously this deserves a good explanation so I will tell y'all the full story:

Georgina is good friends with a family in the ward that joined the church a few years ago and they used to carpool to school. Recently Georgina had a reoccurring dream that this member was taking Georgina to her baptism. She eventually decided that she couldn't deny the dream and so when she saw a link to Mormon.org on tumblr she requested a Book of Mormon. We gave it to her on the last Sunday of September and by the time we went to message her on Facebook about and hour and half later she had already read the Restoration Pamphlet and a good amount of the Book of Mormon. She had so many good questions and we were able to answer them through the Spirit. We took her on a temple and chapel tour and the Spirit touched her heart. She committed to it and was excited. We taught her all the lessons but she had a concern about one of the commandments. She attended institute multiple times (always taking notes) and the second week she went she found her answer to her question through the notes that she had taken and the Spirit helped it click in her mind. But she still felt like she wasn't ready just quite yet. She then had a dream on Monday night this past week where she was by the baptismal font and someone took her away to a place and all of her fears and worries went away. So now a little side note to the story. On the last Sunday on September I was fasting for someone to be baptised on the 14th of October. That night we met Georgina and I felt like she would be ready for that date. She progressed really fast but then had these concerns, so we were a little concerned as well. But one thing I have really learned on my mission is that if you have faith in something then never give up. So I kept praying non stop that she would receive an answer and then on Monday night I prayed for her specifically to have a dream. AND SHE DID! So now back to the story, now that she has had all these experiences we presented to her the idea of being baptised in FOUR DAYS and at first she felt it might be too soon but that she would think about it. The next day she messaged us first and asked if she could be baptised on Saturday. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE MIRACLE. She had her interview the next day and we actually had almost 60 people at the baptism which was crazy! I have no doubt that when we fast and pray and never give up on it then miracles will happen.

Ether 12:12- "For if there be no faith among the children of men God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, he showed not himself until after their faith."

This week was just amazing. Georgina's sister Emma came to the baptism and to church and Georgina has been talking to her lots about the Gospel. She is already a great missionary. Another fun fact is that Eleanor and Georgina grew up together, went different ways and now they both are baptised! We also had someone named Mark that walked into the family history centre come to church and we will see him tomorrow.

We saw the Colemans a couple times and they are so great. We did service for them with some members of the elders Quorum in ward 4 and it really touched them. We were able to teach them and Lyn came to church. They said they see themselves joining the church, it will just take some time. We were able to see Joseph and Harrison as well and they both should be good for their baptisms next month. Carol and Rory are struggling a little bit with their relationship and so we haven't been able to see them but they should be fine.

Random other highlights: had a zone Conference on Thursday which was good. I conducted the first half of the meeting and Elder Tuipulotu and I gave a training on Online Proselyting. We also had a Europe area broadcast with Elder Ballard and that was amazing. He spoke about miracles and really just motivated the members to try even harder with missionary work. He shared a story about how he went to Ethiopia in the early 80s when they had their terrible drought. He was a seventy and went with the president of the welfare program. There was only one known member of the church in the country at the time and they somehow found him. They have a Sacrament Meeting with the 3 of them and then Elder Ballard called down the powers of heaven for it to rain and two hours later it started pouring down rain. It rained every single day they were there.

I am filled with so much joy. I love this work with all my heart. Miracles have not ceased!!

-Elder Ludlow

Georgina was baptised by a convert of about 2 1/2 years and it was his first time baptising. He was very crucial for her progress. He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met.

October 9, 2017 More Miracles!

Another week full of miracles! Had a member tell us at the end of a
tea appointment that his son was 9 and hadn't been baptised. It was
really surprising because the family is very active but we are working
with Joseph towards baptism! Georgina is doing super well. Saw her
multiple times, she has been taught everything, attended institute
again and the missionary fireside. She continues to read the Book of
Mormon and has received some amazing answers to prayers! She is just
waiting for an answer on one more thing and then she will be set! She
has fit in super well with the YSA and is hanging out with them on her
own.

Carol and Rory are super committed. Saw them at their home. Only Carol
was able to come to church but both are keeping commitments. We will
see them soon and hope to get the hand off to the Bolton missionaries.
Saw Harrison (the 10 year old) and he's so great. He wants to be
baptised and we are hoping to have him and Joseph be baptised on the
same day!

Lyn and Mick, the neighbors of a member are AMAZING. We saw them
multiple times and they loved it. We had a chapel tour with them and
at the end there happened to be a baptism for a child of record
happening and they witnessed it and thoroughly enjoyed it. They
attended church yesterday and were so welcomed and enjoyed it as well.
They have had so many spiritual experiences and now it's just a matter
of them fully committing to baptism!

We had two day Mission Leadership Council this past week which was
interesting and different but it was good. We were really able to
establish a vision for the mission.

I am so unbelievably grateful for the Spirit and how it works on
people. There were so many experiences from this past week where our
friends were able to feel of our Heavenly Father's love and also that
they were able to recognise it! It's such a blessing and privilege to
be able to be set apart to carry that Spirit and to be an instrument
in the Lord's hands. So #blessed.

Had a Zone P-Day today which was fun!

October 2, 2017 Miracle Week

This past week was amazing! We saw many miracles and we truly have
been blessed by the Lord. Our media referral Georgina is doing super
well. She has been taught so much already, attended institute and
loved it, committed to baptism and came to Conference! Another miracle
with her is that she is dyslexic but when she picked up the Book of
Mormon she was able to read and understand it! So she knew it was true
right away.

Carol and Rory and doing super well! We finally got to teach them both
after showing them around the temple and chapel and they said they
wanted to be baptised! Rory went to institute and really enjoyed it.
They also came to Conference and loved it. We are so excited for them.
We also had a part member family attend conference and their 10 year
old boy Harrison who isn't baptised really enjoyed it. So we had 4
investigators in church this week which was a miracle! We also watched
Conference with Abby in the members home.

Another miracle is that we had tea at a members home and she invited
the couple from next door to join us and we got to teach them! They
have lots of potential and we will be seeing them again tonight! The
Lord is hastening His work in this area and we are just so blessed.

Found out this week that Elder Tuipulotu and I will be staying in
Chorley for another transfer! Super excited. General Conference was
amazing! We were able to watch 4 of the sessions. I really enjoyed
Elder Pingree and Elder Rasband other than the classic super good
talks by President Eyring and Uchtdorf and Elder Holland!

I hope y'all were able to receive guidance for yourselves from General
Conference. I always feel like the speakers are speaking directly to
me. Take care!

September 25, 2017 Media Referrel Miracle

This past week was great! The work here in Chorley is starting to pick up, still a little slow but some solid potential. Carol and Rory were in London this week for Rory's acting and so we weren't able to see them but we have been in touch with them and they are doing well. We still have loads of part member families that we are working with or trying to work with and that is still exciting!

We got a self referral this week and she is super prepared! Her name is Georgina and she just keeps asking us super good questions. She has been reading the Book of Mormon and actually told the missionaries on Mormon.org that she had a dream about joining the church! So we are very excited about her.

Random highlights:
Got a new car on Wednesday (2017 Hyundai iX20). It's been really nice. Also visited Burnley and did a street display to help the elders there. It's a super nice town.

Hope y'all are doing well!

September 18, 2017 Member Work

This past week was wonderful! We were able to see Carol and she is so
prepared. She has desires to join the church and also her 18 year old
son Rory to join as well. She asks many great questions and has had
many experiences with the Spirit guiding her. Carol and Rory came to
church on Sunday and loved it! They both were commenting in class and
they just seem like members already. We had our first Facebook video
chat this week which was fun! It was with our friend Emma who asked so
many good questions but then didn't show up to our appointment the
next day and hasn't responded to us.

Nothing else really happened other than that we are now focusing even
more on member work which makes the work seem slower but eventually we
will have amazing people to teach. Abby is moving into a new home and
so she has been busy with that. We have loads of part member families
that we are working with. We are really excited about the work here!

I am so grateful for the knowledge that we have as members of the
church. I'm grateful for the eternal perspective we have especially
after all these games that the Cougs keep losing. There are things
more important than sports 😉

Hope y'all have the best week ever because y'all are the best!

I love the temple so much.

September 11, 2017 Church Miracle

This week was a good one! Had a miracle with a super nice lady named
Carol walking into church which was very exciting. She has been
prepared! She has had lots of contact with the church and she went to
the pageant this year and she felt the Spirit so she came to church!
She has so much potential. We look forward to seeing her on Wednesday.
We saw Abby in a members home and it was great. She seems pretty
committed to the Gospel but her parents don't really approve of it now
that she is getting more serious with it. She loves it though! We saw
Tom and Holly and had a great Restoration lesson and they love the
Gospel but just have some things to overcome.

We have been finding some great people and Facebook has been a great
tool!  We went through our old paper area books and added a bunch of
people on Facebook from that and also went through our phones. It's
been great! We found a couple new people to start teaching. Facebook
is going to be a great tool! We had a zone Conference this week to
receive more training on it which was good.

Elder Tuipulotu had his birthday on Friday! (Same as JJ and Emily). I
secretly got the sisters to decorate our car and also set up a party
with a great family in one of the wards. It was loads of fun. We are
so spoiled by the members. I love this area.

Pictures:
1-2. Birthday fun
3-4. We have been on some amazing hikes the past 2 weeks!

September 4, 2017 Facebook!

So yes as some of you may know and some of you don't but our mission
is now using Facebook for missionary work! I'm really excited for the
work to move forward and to use this great tool. I am only allowed to
use it for missionary purposes though.

This past week was pretty good. Some slow progress with our
investigators and we had the Longworth family drop us. Robert said
that they regained their faith and went to their old church with other
family members and felt welcomed back. It is really unfortunate but we
helped them regain their faith in Jesus Christ. They will come around!
Please keep praying for them.

We weren't able to get ahold of Abby all week until we started using
Facebook and she actually messaged us first! We have been able to talk
with her and share things with her through messenger. She also came to
church and really loved it again. We will be seeing her tomorrow in a
members home!

We also have still been teaching Siobhan and she is progressing pretty
slowly. We have seen her change though. This week she expressed that
she now believes in God and also that she has felt the Spirit meeting
with us. She also came to the new convert fireside and really enjoyed
it. Speaking of the fireside, it's where people who recently joined
the church share their testimonies/conversion stories and it's super
good to bring investigators to and Eleanor actually spoke at it and it
was amazing! She bore such a powerful, pure testimony.

We have some other great people who I haven't mentioned. We are
teaching someone named Craig who was taught previously by missionaries
and already had a testimony of the Gospel but has struggled with
addictions. We are helping him come off of them and he should be good
to go in 3 weeks! We also are teaching a great couple Tom and Holly.
Tom is a returning member and Holly is super interested in joining the
church! We are seeing them tonight in a members home.

I love being a missionary.

August 28, 2017 I Love the Longworth Family

This past week was really great! We were able to teach the whole
Longworth family and it was amazing! We did a restoration lesson with
plastic cups with the parents and the 4 girls who range from ages 9-11
(twins in between) and it went really well. The girls just loved it.
They were in a semi circle sitting right in front of us and their eyes
were just so big the whole time. The father Robert expressed that he
is so glad his whole family could be taught instead of just him. I
love their family!

We have seen Eleanor's best friend Siobhan and Abby a couple times
this week. They are doing pretty well. Siobhan also came to church.
Abby was excited to come to church but then some emergency came up so
she wasn't able to. She actually invited one of her friends to one of
our teaching appointments.

Elder Tuipulotu is amazing. He gives the best Polynesian hugs, he
visited Jerusalem with his family for Easter one year and we have a
lot of friends in common.

I hope y'all know how much I love this Gospel and the opportunity to
share it with others!

August 22, 2017 Eleanor Was Baptized

This past week was amazing! We had Eleanor's baptism which she invited
her best friend to! The baptism was super great. Eleanor described it
as a "super intense happy bath." Abby came to church on Sunday which
was so great. She felt so much peace and just really felt the Spirit.
She is excited to come again next week. She has been taught all the
commandments now and recognises the difference the Gospel has made in
her life.

We were able to teach our British Pageant golden family the Longworths
and it was great. Unfortunately it was only the father there but he
said that he really felt the Spirit and so they went to the Pageant
twice and he said it was not normal for him to invite religious people
to his home but he couldn't deny the feeling that he felt! He said he
would be baptised when he really felt that it was right. So much
potential there with the wife and 4 children of baptism age as well!
We were able to see a couple of our part member families this week and
there is so much potential there. Lots of great things happening in
Chorley.

Speaking of Chorley, it's transfer week and I will be staying in
Chorley and have my new companion Elder Tuipulotu. He is from Fort
Mill, South Carolina and his father/ his name comes from Tonga.
(@Elder Wilson) His father played football and his mom played
basketball at BYU! He has a full ride scholarship to play Tight End at
BYU. So nice to have an American and BYU companion again 😉.

Hope y'all have a great week!
