This past week was a good one. We were able to see some of our
progressing friends and found a bunch of new people who we are excited
about.
We had a miracle day on Friday which was amazing. We met a man named
Wayne on Wednesday at a bus stop just before 9 and he had met sister
missionaries two days before. His bus was coming and so we didn't have
time to get contact information but we set up a time to see him Friday
morning. He actually showed up to his lesson and we had a great chapel
tour and restoration lesson and he agreed to a baptismal date! He has
great desires to change and was ready to accept the Gospel.
Unfortunately he called us on Saturday and said he wanted to think
about things some more but he will come around! Also, right after we
met another man named Wayne who also is looking to change his life and
we should be seeing him today! Miracles.
We saw Jorge briefly and he is good, he had read some Book of Mormon
but unfortunately he said he doesn't think he could be baptised
because his mom and grandma wouldn't let him but we invited him to
ask! We saw Mary with two sisters in the ward and she is great. She is
just searching for an answer to her prayers and we invited her to
watch the Joseph Smith movie which should be perfect for her.
Malcolm is doing well. We saw him and had a good lesson and he
committed to cut down on smoking and to be done by tomorrow. He is
doing well with that but unfortunately something came up and he wasn't
able to come to church but he has so much potential. He said he has an
open heart.
Fun highlights: we found a couple from Palestine and the man was
actually born in Jerusalem! I spoke a tiny bit of Arabic and they were
impressed. They accepted a Book of Mormon and we will see them not
this week but the next. We had a zone activity in Manchester today
which was fun. Played capture the flag and had a BBQ.
I am super happy and just feel so blessed. I have so much to be
grateful for. Recently, we have been invited to call down the powers
of Heaven more and to ask for angels to be with us and it has been
amazing to see the difference in the work. There really are angels all
around us helping us. It truly is the Lord's work.

This past week was a pretty good one. We got the permission from
Shannon's parents for her to be baptised but then unfortunately they
all didn't come to church. But she will be baptised soon! She is so
prepared. We found a great new investigator named Abbey from New
Zealand who we hope to be working with, she said that she was 100% for
learning more. We also found a bunch of new friends and our schedule
is looking good this next week!
Finding is still going really well. We are finding many friends but
it's just been difficult to keep appointments. The work is progressing
and we keep seeing miracles but we are just working on really helping
people see that they need this Gospel and that they need to meet with
us. I love being able to represent my Saviour. It is the greatest
privilege.
I want you all to know that I have my own testimony of the Gospel. I
know with everything that I am that this Gospel is true. Jesus Christ
really did come to this earth as our Saviour and Redeemer and He
really did perform the Atonement and He lives today. I know by the
power of the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true. Joseph Smith
really did see God the Father and Jesus Christ, no doubt in my mind. I
love being able to share the knowledge that I have and especially the
great Plan of Happiness.
Make sure you all look at Mormon.org or Gospel Library and watch all
the Prince of Peace Easter videos! They are amazing! Hope y'all have a
great week!

April 3, 2017 Miracles
This week was full of miracles! We found many new friends and the work
is moving forward great! We found a wonderful family of a father and
two kids that have potential to be baptised! The 14 year old daughter
Shannon has a baptismal date of the 15th! She will be a great
influence for her family. We also found some great prepared people
that we should be working closely with! We had 6 people confirm to
coming to Conference and unfortunately no one came.
We found a new friend Callum on the street Saturday after Conference
and we dated him for baptism on the spot but he didn't come to
Conference but we will hopefully see him very soon. We have a lot of
appointments lined up and lots of people that we should be seeing!
General Conference was amazing. Unbelievably powerful and uplifting. I
had many questions answered and my testimony was most definitely
strengthened in so many ways. I loved Elder Sabin's talk because his
talk was focused on being ALL IN. Elder Bednar and the First
Presidency were especially powerful in the Priesthood session.
President Ulrich has encouraged us to start reading the Book of Mormon
underlining the references to the Holy Ghost and repentance and I have
loved it, it has really helped me focus more on teaching with the Holy
Ghost and teaching repentance. Our message really is life changing!
