This past week was great. Abby and Eleanor are doing super well. We
saw Abby a couple times and she is reading the Book of Mormon and is
praying. She loves it. She asks us for chapters to read, she is
feeling stronger and more positive and we have seen the change already
in her. We gave her a baptismal goal of August 19th so she needs lots
of prayers to receive a confirmation of that!
Eleanor continues to become more and more converted. She loves the
Gospel and has become so strong because of it. Her family situation is
very very hard but she finds so much happiness and peace from the
Gospel and that has been a testimony strengthener to me. She committed
to August 19th for baptism and is very excited for it!
Highlights: had a Zone Conference here in Chorley this past week. The
Chorley, Liverpool and Preston zones were here and it was a very
uplifting meeting. Elder Vincent and I got to conduct the meeting
which was fun. We talked a lot about having a vision and then setting
goals/ making plans for that vision and then doing it! We also talked
a lot about visualisation which is something I have always liked
(particularly with basketball). Beginning with the end in mind and
visualising success.
The British pageant is this week and if you don't know about it look
it up! It's basically just as big as the Nauvoo or Manti or the other
pageants! It's about the early history of the church with the
missionaries coming over to England. We are super excited about it, we
will be very involved with a booth and also performing in the finale.
THE CHURCH IS TRUE
-Elder Ludlow
P.S. Don't forget.. don't do nothing unless your hearts in it.
