This week was an interesting one. We had a former investigator named
Janine walk into the church while we were having comp study and she
was really happy to see us. She was taught by the assistants a few
months ago and expressed how she wanted to come back and be baptised
and we were really excited, it was a miracle. But we haven't been able
to contact her since. This has been happening over and over for two
transfers haha. Finding wasn't as good this week but we do have some
hopeful people for this next week.
We are starting to teach a couple that was found by the sisters who
live really close to our home. They recently moved in and a couple
from the ward saw them moving stuff and so they helped and started
sharing the Gospel with them and then that same day the sisters met
them randomly and began teaching them. They are a great couple from
Ghana. Frank and Anita and then as well Frank's brother Juke has
potential!
We found some great people who seem more solid. The first is Jonathan
who promised to try praying and was very open to learning more. The
other was Jason who is a devout Christian who was very kind to us and
we will see him on Wednesday. We feel great about these two.
Funny highlight: We asked a great family in the ward from Bolivia if
we could go have tea at their home and they kindly accepted. The only
thing we didn't realise is that a family from Bolivia who hasn't lived
in England for very long probably wouldn't understand that tea=dinner
in this country and so yeah we were pretty hungry last night after
only drinking tea and little snacks for dinner 😂.
This upcoming Friday I will be taking the written driving test for my
British license and the test is harder here (the British use weird
words) and so if you all could pray for me that would mean a lot!
I have felt a bit more discouraged this past week with how many people
we have taught that seem golden but then end up dropping us but I know
that this is the Lord's work and it's not meant to be easy but it is
worth it. We will find those people who are ready. We know we will. I
love having trials and bumps in the road because that is how we can
appreciate the good times. I love that there is opposition in all
things. The Gospel is amazing.

1. Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right.
2. Went to a great pier by the Manchester United stadium today and
finally got to go see it!
